Steel-plastic geogrid is a mesh-shaped reinforced material composed of high-strength steel wire (or steel strand) and polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) through extrusion coating, welding and other processes. It combines the high strength of metal with the corrosion resistance of plastic to form a "hard and soft" composite structure, which is suitable for soil reinforcement projects under high loads and harsh environments.

- 1. Ultra-high tensile strength: The steel wire core material provides extremely high tensile strength (up to more than 200kN/m), far exceeding that of pure plastic gratings, and is suitable for ultra-heavy-load projects.
- 2. Corrosion resistance and anti-aging: The plastic coating isolates the steel wire from the corrosive medium and has long service life.
- 3. Low creep characteristics: The rigid skeleton structure of the steel wire significantly reduces the deformation under long-term load and maintains engineering stability.
- 4. Impact resistance and fatigue resistance: adaptable to dynamic loads and not easy to break or fatigue failure.
- 5. Water permeability and soil interlocking: The mesh structure allows water to penetrate, and the surface roughness enhances the friction and engagement with the soil.
