Geomembrane is a very low-permeability, synthetic sheet or film used as a barrier to control the migration of liquids or gases in geotechnical engineering and environmental projects, preventing contamination of soil and water. Made from materials like HDPE, LLDPE, PVC, and EPDM, these durable, flexible membranes are crucial for landfill liners, containment ponds, canals, tunnels, and secondary containment, offering chemical resistance, strength, and long-term performance.
