Uniaxial geogrid is a mesh structure geosynthetic material made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP) and other polymer materials through extrusion, punching, and unidirectional stretching. It is characterized by high strength along a single direction (longitudinal) and is suitable for engineering scenarios that require one-way enhancement of the tensile properties of soil.
Features
- 1. High strength and low elongation: The longitudinal tensile strength can reach 30~200kN/m (depending on the specifications), and the elongation is only 3%~10%, effectively restraining soil deformation.
- 2. Corrosion resistance and durability: Resistant to acid, alkali and microbial erosion, adaptable to humid or contaminated soil environments, with a service life of up to 80+ years.
- 3. High node strength: Special processing ensures that the ribs and nodes are firmly combined to avoid detachment when stressed.
- 4. Good water permeability and good bonding with soil: The mesh structure allows water to penetrate freely while engaging closely with the soil to enhance friction resistance.
- 5. Convenient construction: The roll material is lightweight and can be cut, overlapped or tied on site, adapting to rapid laying on complex terrain.

- 1. Highway and railway projects: Soft foundation reinforcement to enhance the bearing capacity of soft soil foundation. Fill steep slopes to prevent landslides or collapses.
- 2. Retaining wall and slope protection: Reinforced soil retaining wall, laid in layers with backfill soil. Ecological slope protection, combined with vegetation restoration, strengthens the slope and prevents soil erosion.
- 3. Landfills and tailings ponds: Reinforce slopes in the reservoir area to improve the anti-sliding stability of tailings dams or garbage dumps.
- 4. River and coastal engineering: Reinforcement of embankments to enhance their erosion resistance and extend their service life. Revetment structure, soil reinforcement.
- 5. Reinforce the foundation of runways in airport and port projects to disperse aircraft loads and reduce base deformation.
